Based on the research on subsynchronous oscillations, the principle of subsynchronous oscillations suppression using SEDC (supplementary excitation damping controller)is analyzed in this paper. The SEDC parameter setting by two point method is discussed and analyzed. The IEEE first benchmark model for subsynchronous oscillations is utilized for testing. With the designed SEDC applied in the benchmark model, the inspired subsynchronous oscillations are suppressed effectively, which significantly improves the stability of the benchmark model system.%在对次同步振荡进行相关研究的基础上,对附加励磁阻尼控制器(Supplementary Excitation Damping Controller,SEDC)抑制次同步振荡的原理进行了分析,并利用两点整定方法对SEDC的参数设计进行了分析.针对IEEE次同步振荡第一标准测试系统中存在的次同步谐振模式,投运按本文所提方法设计的SEDC,能有效抑制其中的主导振荡模式,维护该系统的安全稳定运行.
