A simple and effective method to remove residual aluminum in tap water was introduced.PAN based activated carbon fiber(ACF) was employed as adsorbent for removal of aluminum in tap water.The results show that such modified ACF performs remarkable absorption rate,when it reduces residual aluminum to a concentration under 5 μg/L at the first 20 seconds with low usage amount.Low temperature lays a great impact on Al concentration.This paper studied the removal mechanism of total aluminum and fitting curve of Pseudo first-order equation and Pseudo second-order equation.The kinetic data indicate that the adsorption data follow the second-order kinetics.The Freundlich model adsorption isotherm of ACF was more suitable to describe the mechanism of the adsorption process of total aluminum.This method is practical and can be applied to tap water to remove residual aluminum.%以改性处理过的聚丙烯腈基活性炭纤维(PAN-ACF)为吸附剂分析了其对自来水中总铝的吸附去除效果.结果表明,ACF对水中总铝有较好的吸附效果,较小的吸附剂使用量即可使水中余铝浓度在接触吸附仅20 S后降至5μg/L以下,较低温度对余铝浓度影响大.用动力学方程对吸附数据进行拟合,并对ACF的吸附等温线进行了研究.结果显示,ACF对水中总铝的吸附对伪二级动力学方程有较好的线性拟合性;相对于Langmuir型吸附等温线,其吸附更符合Freundlich型吸附等温线.该方法具有较强的实用性,可应用于自来水中总残余铝的去除.
