＜正＞ In this paper,a novel boundary element method called alternative boundary element method is pre-sented.Based on this,a three-dimensional transient mold-cooling simulation system has been de-veloped.Special attention has been paid to the formulation and numerical treatment.By this the calcula-tion such as numerical domain integration or boundary integration at each time step is eliminated.Thetransient temperature of mold and part can be simulated effectively.
