通过对广东草业主要生产模式的分析研究，指出牧草在充分利用资源，缓解粮食紧张问题，提高地力，治理水土流失，改善生态环境等方面的作用，进而阐述了草业对可持续发展的重要性。%The role of herbage in sufficient utilization of resources, solution of food shortage, increase in soil fertility and improvement of ecological environment were disscussed after studying the main productive model of prataculture in Guangdong Province. Thereby the significance of prataculture in sustainable development was analyzed.
