Advances in Research of Nanochitosan for Pest Management in Agriculture

cqvip:Chitosan(CS)as a biocompatible,biodegradable natural cationic polysaccharide offers unique physical and chemical characteristics:low immunogenicity,ecological safety,low toxicity,antibacterial and insecticidal property.Nanochitosan(NCS)is the nanoparticle of CS and has been widely researched in modern agricultural pesticides,such as synergists,controlled release formulations and pesticide substitutes.Based on these proprieties that help precision pesticide application,reduction the dosage of agrochemical,interest has been growing in using this nanomaterial to reduce the negative impact of residue and yield of crops.This review recapitulates the properties and preparation of NCS,and the applications of NCS in pesticides for pest management will be the emphasis.
