This composition and working principle of Russia ZTS AP-42-type electromagnetic MWD system is described. In Daqing Oil Field foam drilling tests, the system has successfully received 1,510 m deep wells electromagnetic waves emitted signal,the test data of gamma and receptivity fits log curve,the system can be extended to 2,000 m depth in the application of gas drilling.
