Acceleration of C₂+-C₈+ Clusters to MeV Energies

正 Beams of C₂+-C₈+ clusters have been accelerated to 3 MeV in 1.7 MV tandemaccelerator.The beam intensity of small C-cluster is large enough for some physical ex-periments.The gas density in the stripper cell is an important parameter for obtainingmaximum C_m+ cluster beam.
