This article gives a brief introduction of the status quo of wastewater treatment plants and their methods of land application of sewage sludge in domestic and overseas. From the aim and request of the sustainable agricultural development, the article puts forward valuable suggestions for the municipal wastewater treatment plants’ source reduction, process control and resource utilization of sewage sludge treatment and disposal.%　　本文简介了国内外污水处理厂污泥处置的现状和土地利用污泥的处理方法。从保证农业可持续发展的目的出发，提出污泥土地利用存在的问题和应采取的措施，为城镇污水处理厂污泥全过程管理和资源化土地利用提供合理化建议
