Dalmataphaenops (N. GEN.) chiarae (N. SP.) NUOVO ECCEZIONALE TRECHINO TROGLOBIO DELLA REGIONE DINARICA E CONSIDERAZIONI SUL GENERE Aphaenopsis G. 1913 (Coleoptera Carabidae Trechinae)

正 Viene descritto Dalmataphaenops chiarae, n. gen., n. sp., un nuovo Trechino troglobioa facies afenopsiana di dimensioni gigantesche (Coleoptera Carabidae Trechinae), raccolto dall’Autorein una grotta del massiccio del Biokovo (Dalmazia centrale, Croazia). I1 nuovo taxon presenta evidentiaffinità, avallate anche da riscontri biogeografici, con Aphaenopsis G. Miiller (sensu Auct. nec PRETNER,1959). Di quest’ultimo genere viene confutato con nuove argomentazioni l’assetto interno proposto daPRETNER (1959) e rettificate alcune inesattezze relative alle diagnosi di JEANNEL (1928) e dello stesso PRETNER. Dalmataphaenops (novum genus) chiarae (nova sp.) a new exceptional troglobitic Trechinaefrom the Dinaric Region and considerations on the genus Aphaenopsis G. Müler, 1913 (Coleoptera Cara-bidae). The Author describes Dalmataphaenops chiarae n. gen., n. sp., a new aphenopsian, gigantic-sized,troglobitic Trechinae from the massif of Biokovo (Central Dahnatia, Croatia). The new taxon has closerelationships with the genus Aphaenopsis G. Müller (sensu Auct. nec PRETNER, 1959), as biogeographicconsiderations also suggest. The Author rejects the internal order proposed by PRETNER (1959) for thislast genus and corrects some inaccuracies of the diagnosis proposed by JEANNEL (1928) and PRETNER.
