霍华德'田园城市'理论对中国城市发展的现实借鉴

摘要

埃比尼泽·霍华德的"田园城市"的理论与实践至今仍然对世界城市发展有着深远的影响.本文对"田园城市"理论进行深度解读,分析"田园城市"在中国新型城镇化中的角色定位,并进一步提出霍华德的"田园城市"理论在城市规模与人口密度的设定,城市结构与布局,城市化模式和城市土地使用制度等方面,对中国的城市发展都有着现实借鉴意义.%Both the theory and the practice of Sir Ebenezer Howard's "Garden City" still have significant influence on the development of cities around the world to this day. This paper elaborates the "Garden City Theory", and analyzes the role it plays in the current new urbanization of China. The paper further sets forth that Howard's "Garden City Theory" has practical referential significance to the urban development of China in terms of its planning of urban scale and population density, the urban structure and layout, the model of urbanization, the urban land use system, etc.
