The collision processes of highly charged ions with molecules are of fundamental interests. These processes will help to shed light on problems as diverse as processes in interstellar gases, the upper layers of stars and gas giant atmospheres, the damage to biological tissue by energetic radiation, and the direct determination of molecular structures from Coulomb explosion (CE) experiments.
