Superseding resource exploration of Fozichong Pb - Zn mine is one of the national superseding resource prospecting projects of crisis mines. On the basis of former works, the new reserves of mineral resources have reached middle scale while the potential economic value is up to RMB 1. 1 billion Yuan. If the exploration scale of the mine remains unchanged, the service lifetime of the mine can be extended by 2 years. It means that 1270 employees will have stable jobs, thus the tension of mineral resource crisis of the mine will be eased significantly. Based on analysis of previous literatures and present works, new understandings have come upon the author, and the author offers some new suggestions on future geologic prospecting works in the mining area.%佛子冲铅锌矿接替资源勘查属全国危机矿山接替资源找矿项目.通过2006～2008年的矿产预测、2008～2009年的接替资源勘查工作,在前人工作的成果基础上新增矿产资源储量达中型规模,潜在经济价值达11亿元,按矿山现有开采规模可延长矿山服务年限2年,稳定安置从业人数1270人.有效地缓解了矿山的矿产资源危机程度.在对原有资料的综合研究和分析后,加上本次工作过程中的一些体会及取得的成果形成一些新的认识,对矿区今后的地质找矿工作提出新的建议.
