The fault causes are varied in the slab continuous casting machine in Laiwu Steel Corporation. The technical improvements are made to solve effectively the bottleneck problem in the production of the continuous casting machine, reduce the maintenance cost and increase the economic benefit.%分析了莱钢板坯连铸机多种故障的原因，通过技术改进，有效地解决了制约连铸机生产的瓶颈问题，降低了维护成本并产生了较好的经济效益。
