Objective: In search of differences between owners and mm-owners of pet and the relationship between physical and mental health and pet ownership.Methods: 2059 respondents were investigated with questionnaire.Rtsult: Gender, age, marital status, employment status have no significant effect on pet ownership, but education, dwelling years, income, Engel coefficient subjective social stratum, housing area have it.Pet ownership has significant effect on blood donaiion and fundraises.Owners of pet have less pressure and more self-confidence than nonowners of pet.Conclusion: Owners of pet have higher mental health level, which may be achieved through the emotional support from pet.%目的:考察拥有宠物和不拥有宠物的群体区别以及个体身心健康状况同是否拥有宠物的关系.方法:采用社会调查问卷对2059名受访对象进行测量.结果:性别、年龄、婚姻状况、就业状况对是否拥有宠物没有显著影响,而教育程度、居住年限、收入、恩格尔系数水平、社会交往广度、主观社会阶层归属、住房面积则对其有显著影响.拥有宠物对是否参加无偿献血、公益募捐有显著影响.拥有宠物的个体较没有宠物的更少感到心理压力,而且自信心水平也较高.结论:拥有宠物的人有较高的心理健康水平,这可能是通过来自宠物的情感支持实现的.
