Study on Coastal Profile Changes of the Caofeidian Area in the Bohai Sea Since 1983

The Caofeidian sandbar-lagoon system is situated along the northwest coast of the Bohai Sea. The system has evolved from the abandoned delta, which came into being by Suhe River and Xiaoqinghe River in the middle Holocene. At the moment, the system has almost lost the supply of river sediments. (Fig. 1)
