Spindel frequency error extraction method based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) is put forward.Empirical Mode Decomposition is characteristic of multi-scale and multi-resolution time-frequency analysis method.It is pointed out that EMD can be used to extract the spindle errors with different frequencies and the signals with spindle frequency error.From the frequency spectrum of each modal component,the frequency imformation of the spindle fault can be found out.It is proved that the method can be used to detect the fault of the spindle.%提出了一种基于经验模态分解的主轴频率误差提取方法,通过分析经验模态分解具有多尺度多分辨率的特性,指出其能够提取不同频率的主轴误差,通过实验对含有主轴频率误差的信号进行经验模态分解,并对各阶模态分量进行频谱分析,识别主轴频率误差的类型,验证了该方法能够有效提取机床主轴的频率误差.
