In this paper, based on an in-depth investigation, we adopted the second smallest value method to process the empirically collected data to identify the existing imbalance in the packaging section in the assembly workshop of a pump manufacturing plant, used the 5W1H technique to optimize and restructure the packaging workflow and the assembly line balancing process to redesign the packaging section, by which we removed the inefficiencies, and thus waste, in the production layout of the workshop, reduced the production cost and improved the balance rate and production efficiency of the assembly line.%在深入调研的基础上,采用取次小值法对实测数据进行处理,发现泵业组装车间包装段存在的不平衡问题,应用5W1H提问技术对包装段的流程程序进行优化重组,应用装配线平衡法对该包装段进行平衡设计,改变了此组装车间生产布局的不合理性,消除了浪费,降低了生产成本,提高了线平衡率和生产效率.
