Objective To investigate the protective ef fects of Ligustrazine on ischemia-reperfusion injury in rat kidneys.Methods Influence of Ligustrazine for injection on the changes o f plasma superoxide dismutase(SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) and endothelin-1 (ET -1) as well as the morphology of injured tubule was observed after ischemia-re perfusion injury of rat kidneys.Results In Ligustrazine group, the levels of plasma SOD were sig nificantly higher, but the levels of plasma MDA and ET-1 and the pathological g rading of injured renal tubule were significantly lower than those in control gr oup (P＜0.05).Conclusion Ligustrazine has a protective effect on rat kidneys w ith ischemia-reperfusion injury.
