In the grinding of high speed steel ,the high temperature grinding zone often leads to poor surface quality such as grinding burn ,micro-cracks and tensile residual stresses .The cooling-air technology is adopted to study the grinding of high speed steel .The experimental results show :The changed thickness of the workpiece surface microstructure in cooling-air grinding is decreased by 1~1 .5 times compared with dry grinding .Cooling-air effectively lowers the grinding temperature ,restrains the grinding burns ,reduces the surface roughness value and improves the surface quality .%为解决高速钢磨削加工时工件表面质量难以保证问题,采用低温冷风和常温干式两种冷却方式对高速钢试件进行了不同冷却条件下磨削试验,分别从表面粗糙度、表面烧伤、金相组织变化等方面进行了对比分析.试验结果表明:当采用低温冷风磨削时,工件表层金相组织变化深度较干式磨削减少了1~1.5倍,低温冷风磨削温度降低,磨削烧伤抑制,工件表面粗糙度值较干式磨削减小,工件表面质量较干式磨削提高.
