目前，东洞庭湖区域森林健康存在以下问题：森林的总体处于亚健康与不健康状况，林分结构不合理，空间分布不均匀，景观呈现破碎化趋势，城市化发展和林地面积减少矛盾突出，造纸业对生态环境造成破坏。为使东洞庭湖区域森林资源可持续利用，可采取如下对策：调整林分结构，充分发挥其生态服务功能；充分利用森林防护价值，发展林下经济；强化林政管理措施，减少景观破碎化；制定并落实东洞庭湖区域森林可持续经营指标、标准及经营方案；完善森林融资机制和林权流转机制。%The previous research show that the forest health problems in East Dongting Lake area mainly include:unhealthy forest condition; unreasonable forest structure; uneven distribution in space; fragmentation trend of land-scape; obvious contradiction between urbanization development and forest area reduction; ecological environment damage of paper industry. Then we can put forward the following countermeasures: adjusting the forest structure so as to make full use of its ecological service functions; developing forests economy by full use of forest protection value;strengthening measures to reduce landscape fragmentation; developing and implementing indicators, standards and management plan for the sustainable development of East Dongting Lake area as soon as possible and perfecting mechanism of forest financing and forest right circulation.
