摘要

The Records of the Kingdom of Buddha is a travel note written by the scholar Fa Xian of the Eastern Jin Dynasty in Chinese. It records the landscapes, products, history, and Buddhism of India,Sri Lanka, and other countries,as well as what he saw and heard in ancient India,Sri Lanka, and other countries at that time.It is a valuable document. His original works in Chinese have not only been published many times, but also been translated into different languages such as French and English, attracting the attention of foreign readers. They have also been translated into Tibetan and Mongolian. However, the attention and research on this multilingual document, especially the translation of the travel notes into Tibetan and Mongolian, has not been paid attention by the academic community. This paper introduces this in detail and affirms that Mongolian scholars such as Dorj Banzarov and Zawa Damdin have made great contributions to the dissemination of the excellent culture of the Chinese nation.
