北斗/GPS双模授时及其在CDMA系统的应用

         

摘要

There are more than 100,000 BTS stations of CDMA system in China. Each base station should keep time synchronized to adjacent station for successful communication. The current CDMA system is timed by GPS. In order to increase security, we apply Compass/GPS dual mode timing. The Compass timing module with multiple channels is developed. Switching strategy is designed. Dual mode antenna is applied to simplify the installation. Time data is sent to BTS by external clock interface. Dual mode timing test at some areas of CDMA system was carried out. Test result shows that dual mode timing is feasible for CDMA system.%中国CDMA系统具有成千上万个基站收发信机(BTS).为了实现正常通话,相邻BTS之间的时间必须同步.目前CDMA系统由GPS实现同步,为了增强可靠性,应用了北斗/GPS双模授时.研制了多通道北斗授时模块;设计出合理的切换策略;研制了双模天线,设计了与BTS的接口.实施了在CDMA网部分地区的双模授时试验,试验结果表明,双模授时在CDMA系统是完全可行的.
