[Objective]Plants and landscapes of the crabapple garden were studied in Chenshan Botanical Garden in order to provide information for expansion and upgradation of the landscape appearance of crabapple garden. [Method] Comprehensive analysis and evaluations were made to crabapple garden in accordance with the local conditions. [Result] Existing problems of the crabapple garden in Chenshan Botanical Garden included limited display area,poor landscape visibility, inadequate cultural characteristics and unsatisfactory site condition. [Suggestion]During the time of garden expansion, four points including better site condition, rich plant landscape, proper garden layout and cultural connotation enrichment should be thought on top priorities in order to develop perfect functional features and scientific connotation of the crabapple garden in Chenshan Botanical Garden.%[目的]分析上海辰山植物园海棠专类园植物收集和景观现状,为海棠园的扩建和景观面貌的提升提供理论依据.[方法]采用因地制宜的科学方法对海棠园现有现状进行综合分析与评价.[结果]上海辰山植物园海棠园在景观营造方面存在展示面积不够大、景观效果不明显、文化内涵不突出、立地条件不理想等问题.[建议]在扩建时应以改善立地条件、丰富植物景观、完善园区布局和充实文化内涵4个方面的内容为重点,进一步完善上海辰山植物园海棠园的功能特色,提升科学内涵.
