To analyze the effect of blending ratio on mechanical property and wearability of kapok/cotton blended woven fabrics, yarns of same count pure cotton and four different kapok/cotton blended ratios (20/80,30/70,40/60 and 50/50 by volume) were selected and woven by the plain weave in the same weaving processes.The results show that the warmth retention property, UV resistance and crease resilience are improved with the increase of kapok fiber content;and once the content of kapok fiber increases up to 50%, the blended fabric could be used as anti-ultraviolet radiation fabric.However, their tensile strength, drapability and permeability are slightly lower than that of pure cotton fabric, so are the abrasion resistance and pilling resistance.Furthermore, their surface hydrophilicity is poorer than that of pure cotton fabric due to high wax content of on kapok fiber surface.The wicking property index becomes better with the increase of kapok fiber content.%选取了混纺比为20/80、30/70、40/60、50/50规格相同的四种木棉/棉混纺纱线和纯棉纱线,并按照相同参数织成机织物,研究混纺比对木棉/棉机织物力学性能及服用性能的影响.实验结果表明:随着木棉混纺比的提高,织物的保暖性、抗紫外性和折痕回复性能均有所提高,且当木棉纤维质量分数达到50%时,织物可作为防紫外线功能面料使用.但织物在拉伸强力、悬垂性、透气性等方面则有所降低,耐磨性也明显变差且更容易起毛起球.此外,由于木棉表面含有较多蜡质导致混纺织物表面亲水性变差,但芯吸性能有一定的改善.
