In the study on swelling law of sericin, it was found that the water weight gain curve of cocoon layer had the characteristics of first rising and then falling. To explore the reason, scanning electron microscope was used to find the sericin, it was first swelled and then dissolved. Besides, cocoon silk arrangement of cocoon layer and sericin falling differed with existing teaching materials. The results show that the water weight gain curve of cocoon layer coincided with sericin dissolution characteristics shown in the electron microscope pictures and there was a correlation between them. In addition, it was found that the cocoon silk of the cocoon layer presented obvious orbital shape, and the obvious gap was seen in the middle. This indicates that silk fibroin consisted of two independent monofilaments and was arranged in a parallel way. Through observing electron microscope pictures of cocoon layer under different swelling time, it was found that the sericin gradually fell from silk fibroin like flaky material, and finally silk fibroin was exposed. This shows silk fibroin was directly covered on the surface, without the layer.%在研究丝胶膨润规律中发现茧层水增重曲线存在先升后降特性，为探究原因，采用扫描电子显微镜观察发现丝胶存在先膨润后溶解的特性；同时发现茧层茧丝排列、丝胶脱落情况与现有教材内容有不同之处。结果表明，茧层水增重曲线与电镜照片丝胶溶解特性吻合，存在相关关系；同时发现茧层的茧丝都是呈明显的轨道状，中间可以看到明显的间隙，说明是由两根独立的单丝组成，并以平行的方式排列；通过不同膨润时间茧层电镜照片的观察，得出茧丝上丝胶从丝素上以片状物状态逐渐脱落，最终暴露出丝素，说明丝胶直接覆盖在丝素表面，不分层次。
