HPV16 infection is ciosely associated with cervicai carcinomas. A lot or investigation indicate that HPV16 E6/E7 proteins can act as tumor rejection antigens. So an HPV16E6 leukaryoticexpression plasmid pcDNA3/E6 was constructed and transfected Into Cos7 cells, which expressed E6protein in vitro. Animal experiments proved that intramuscular immunlzation with plasmid peDNA3/E6 could elicit specific immunoresponse against HPV16 E6 in mice. All these results suggest that E6DNA vaccine can serve as a candidate therapeutic vaccine for HPV16 associated diseases in humans.
