Fe:SmCo(Cr)薄膜的结构、磁性能与磁光克尔效应

         

摘要

利用脉冲激光沉积工艺,分别在单晶Si(100)衬底和玻璃(SiO2)衬底上制备Fe:SmCo/Cu(Cr)薄膜,研究了Fe掺杂对SmCo薄膜结构、磁性能与磁光效应的影响.实验发现,衬底对Fe掺杂SmCo薄膜性能有很大影响,Si衬底薄膜的矫顽力和饱和磁化强度均优于玻璃衬底样品;同时退火温度也会影响Fe掺杂SmCo薄膜形貌及磁性能,高温退火后,SmCo衍射峰得到了增强,尤其是SmCo5的(001)、(002)和(003)衍射峰最为明显,这是由于高温退火后Cu(111)衍射峰增强的缘故.同时发现,退火后的SiO2衬底与Si衬底样品的磁性和磁光效应均得到增强,但SiO2衬底的矫顽力Hc变化更明显,这是因为较高的表面应力会导致样品的矫顽力增强.因此可以通过调节Fe含量来控制样品的磁光性能,这就为优化SmCo薄膜作为磁光存储介质的性能指出了一个研究方向.%SmCo/Cu, SmCo/Cu/Cr and Fe-doped SmCo films were prepared on glass and Si(100) substrates by pulsed laser deposition, and the microstructure, magnetic and magnetooptical properties of Fe doped SmCo films were researched. The experiments show that the substrates can greatly affect the magnetic properties of film samples, and the corcivity and saturation magnetization of films deposited on Si substrates are better than that on glass subatrates. It is also found that the surface morphology and magnetic properties of Fe:SmCo films were influenced by the temperature annealing and experiments show that the X-ray diffraction peaks of SmCo are enhanced, especially for (001), (002) and (003) peaks, due to the enhancement of Cu(111) peaks after annealing. Moreover, the MOE of the both samples on glass and Si substrates is enhanced after annealing, respectively, even the coercivity of films on glass substrates is better than that on Si substrate, due to the higher surface stress resulting from a stronger coercivity. The Fe content can be adjusted to control the magneto-optical performance of the sample, indicating a research odirection for optimizing the property of SmCo film as the magneto optical storages.
