Differences of different parts of Trichosanthis Fructus have been studied by u-sing Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and the second derivative spectra. IR absorption indicates the existence of saccharides and glucosides in all parts of Trichosanthis Fructus. It also can be identified that there are flavone and ester in Trichosanthis Semen and Trichosanthis Pericarpium. However, the pulp of Trichosanthis Fructus and Trichosanthis Pericarpium contains quantities of starch. The second derivative spectra shows that at the wave number from 1800 cm-1 to 700 cm-1, the peak shape of Trichosanthis Semen is the simplest, following by the the pulp of Trichosanthis Fructus. The peak shape and strength of Trichosanthis Fructus and Trichosanthis Pericarpium are similar, while Trichosanthis Pericarpium reveals more fingerprint peaks. The infrared spectra can provide useful information for the chemical study and the clinical drug usage of the Trichosan-this Fructus.%采用傅立叶红外光谱和二阶导数谱分析方法,对药材瓜蒌不同部位(皮、瓤、子)的红外光谱进行分析.红外谱图显示,瓜蒌各部位均含糖及苷;瓜蒌皮和瓜蒌子中含黄酮及酯类成分;瓜蒌瓤和瓜蒌皮中含相当量的淀粉.二阶导数谱中,在1800~700 cm-1区域内,瓜蒌子的谱峰最简单,次之为瓜蒌瓤,全瓜蒌和瓜蒌皮的峰数较多,峰形和峰强比较相似,而瓜蒌皮呈现更多的指纹特征.本文结果对瓜蒌化学成分的研究和临床合理用药提供了红外谱图信息.
