In order to solve the problem of code error in the out-trunk pulse-repeater of electromechanical switching system, a new kind of signal transmitting system designed with computer technique is introduced. It can converts signal pulses transmitting from the electromechanical switch-board out-trunk into DTMF (Duration Time Modulation Frequency) signal. Statistical result for one-year operation in about one hundred users in Nanyang city shows that the new technique has raised the telephone correct connection rate from 70 percent to 98 percent or more.
