Results in water cultured of rooting experimental of 12 poplar species of pulp forest in northeast China indicatedthat Yingchun 5# had the strongest rooting ability; after 12 d of hydroponics, rooting rate and average root length was 92.3% and 2.69 cm, respectively, where rooting rate and average root length was separately 100.0% and 5.20 cm following16 d of hydroponics.In Bailin2#, the emergence of root was even, rooting rate and average root length was 84.6% and 1.40 cm, respectively.Druing hydroponics period, there were no rooting in Xinjiang popular, 8859 -150, and 8859 -214.According to the comprehensive determination of rooting rate , germinating time of lateral root and average root length , Yingchun5#,Bailin2# , Sha ×Cao, Bailin3# and 8859 -172 showed the earlier rooting time and higher rooting rate .%对东北地区纸浆林用12种杨树品(树)种进行水培生根试验,结果表明:迎春5#生根能力最强,水培12 d时生根率达92.3%,平均根长为2.69 cm;水培16 d时生根率达到100.0%,平均根长为5.20 cm。白林2#生根较整齐,生根率稳定在84.6%,平均根长1.40 cm。新疆杨、8859-150、8859-214在水培试验时间内,没有生根。根据生根率、侧根萌动早晚、平均根长综合确定,迎春5#、白林2#、沙×草、白林3#和8859-172五个品种生根时间早、生根率高。
