Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Hot Pressed TiB_2-ZrO_2 Composites

摘要

The partially stabilized ZrO_2(PSZ) particles were introduced into TiB_2 ceramics to improve its density and mechanical properties.The results show that the addition of PSZ is very effective not only in bettering the sinterabiiity but also in enhancing the flexural strength and fracture toughness of TiB_2.
