民国中期武汉人口急剧增长的主要动因——主要基于汉口的文献调查

摘要

The documents survey showed that the population in Hankou city had developed rapidly in the 1920s and 1930s. The reason leading migrants into Hankou was greatly lay in the attractiveness of the city itself, or the chaos caused by war or natural disasters. At the same time, the large influx of population to the city further exacerbated the urban sickness since the urban commerce and industry in Hankou was underdeveloped.%结合目前武汉市档案与原始文献,对20世纪二三十年代民国中期武汉城市人口,尤其是汉口城市人口急剧增长的主要动因进行了大量档案文献考察。结果表明：此一时期汉口人口急剧增长主要是由于城市本身对农民的吸引力、汉口周边发生的战乱以及天灾造成的外来人口大量涌入所致。与此同时,在城市工商业并不发达状况之下,大量人口的涌入,带来或加剧了汉口城市社会问题。
