Perturbation Theory Combined with Boundary Element Method for Analysis of Gear Contact Problems

摘要

This paper combines the perturbation theory with the boundary element methodfor contact problems of three-dimensional elasticity mechanism to analyse the effect oferrors on the shape of the contact area and pressure distribution in gear drive through theperturbation of a cubic order geometry,there by greatly bringing down both computationwork volume and cost and providing a powerful tool for engineering study on the effectof errors on structural strength.
