摘要

South African writer Cotzee's masterpiece Foeis considered a deconstruction of Daniel Defoe'sRob-inson Crusoe;for inFoe is found the subversion of the colonial consciousness and the relation between the colonizer and colonized in Robinson Crusoe, esp. the overturning rewriting of the colonized negro slave Friday. In Foe, Fri-day has changed from the initial image of the other much discussed into a noble one who has always cherished his soul and belief in his heart and disdained straying into the secular world. Such a subversive writing is just the crea-tion purpose and the significance of Cotzee's Foe.%南非白人作家库切代表作《福》被认为是对丹尼尔·笛福《鲁滨逊漂流记》的解构，对笛福作品中的殖民意识与人物殖民与被殖民关系进行了颠覆书写，尤其是对小说中处于被殖民地位的黑奴星期五进行全新改写。在小说《福》中，星期五由最开始被人言说的三个他者形象，到最后被库切塑造成一个内心始终怀有灵魂与信仰却不屑融入世俗的高大形象，这一颠覆性书写正是《福》的创作目的和意义。
