Objective:To observe the effectiveness and safety of Adalat in combined with Ann Bono in the treatment of moderate and severe hypertension. Methods:A total of 120 patients with moderate and severe hypertension were included in the study and divided into group A (Adalat in combined with Ann Bono group), group B (Adalat group), and group C (Ann Bono group). The efficacy was evaluated through the blood pressure and clinical symptoms. The safety was estimated through the adverse reactions. Adalat (nifedipine controlled released tablets, 30 mg), and Ann Bono (irbesartan and hydrochlorothiazide tablets, 150 mg/12.5 mg) were adopted in the study. Results: After medication, the blood pressure in the three groups was significantly improved when compared with before medication, the blood pressure controlling was more steady and the blood pressure reducing effect was more rapidly in group A when compared with group B and group C. The comparison of serum K, GLU, TC, and TG before and after treatment between the two groups was not statistically significant. The serum Cr and UA levels after treatment in group A were significantly lower than those in group B and group C. Conclusions:Adalat in combined with Ann Bono in the treatment of moderate and severe hypertension has an accurate efficacy; therefore, it deserves to be widely recommended in the clinic.
