Effect of 125I radioactive particle implantation combined with TACE treatment on serum markers apoptotic molecules in tumor tissue of patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma

Objective:To analyze the effect of 125I radioactive particle implantation combined with TACE treatment on serum markers apoptotic molecules in tumor tissue of patients with pri mary hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:Patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma treated in our hospital from July 2012 to January 2015 were included for study and randomly divided into observation group and control group. Control group received TACE treatment alone, observation group received 125I radioactive particle implantation combined with TACE treatment, and then differences in serum marker levels and protein expression of apoptosis-related genes in tumor tissue were compared between two groups.Results:Serum AFP, AFP-L3 and GP73 values of observation group after treatment were lower than those of control group (P<0.05); serum GPC3, TGF-β1, DCP and AFU values of observation group after treatment were lower than corresponding indicator values of control group (P<0.05); protein expression levels of c-Met, telomerase and FasL of observation group after treatment were lower than those of control group, and protein expression levels of Fas and Caspase-3 were higher than those of control group (P<0.05); protein expression levels of p53 and Bax in liver cancer tissue of observation group after treatment were higher than those of control group, and protein expression levels of livin and Bcl-2 were lower than those of control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: 125I radioactive particle implantation combined with TACE treatment for patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma can effectively inhibit liver cancer cell activity and promote liver cancer cell apoptosis.
