通用瓦片生成引擎设计与性能优化

         

摘要

With the development of high-resolution Earth observation technology, a large amount of geospatial data is produced. Creating common types of tiles based on these geospatial data is the key to fast processing and on-time service of these high-resolution data. Based on detailed analysis of tile creation process, a general tile creation en-gine is designed, which is capable of reading several kinds of geospatial data source and is very extensible. Analy-sis and optimization of the tile creation process are conducted. The experiment results show that the engine can cre-ate several common types of tiles, such as image tiles, DEM tiles and map tiles, and is quite efficient compared to other similar tools, which makes it fulfills the requirements of many 2D and 3D visualization clients.%高分对地观测技术的发展产生了大量的地理空间数据,基于这些地理空间数据高效生成多种类型瓦片是实现高分数据快速处理和及时服务的关键。本文在对各种瓦片生成过程详细分析的基础上,设计了能兼容多种地理空间数据源和瓦片类型,具有良好可扩展性的通用瓦片生成引擎。对瓦片生成过程中的性能瓶颈进行了分析与优化。实验结果表明,该通用瓦片生成引擎能够生成影像、数字高程模型、电子地图等多种类型瓦片,且生成效率与已有工具相比有大幅提高,完全能够满足为各类客户端提供二三维可视化服务需求。
