端基含环氧基团的液晶化合物的合成与表征

         

摘要

Three kinds of end group with double bonds (Ⅳm)were synthesized by esterification reaction,etheri-fication reaction and hydrolysis reaction,using methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate as the main raw material.And the double bonds were oxidized by 3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid as an oxidizing agent to get three kinds of epoxy-func-tional groups liquid crystal monomers (Ⅴm).The molecular structures of the liquid crystal monomers were characterized by Fourier infrared absorption spectrometer (FT-IR)and proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)spectroscopy,and the target product was identified.The performance of the product was characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)and thermal polarizing microscope (POM).The results shows that all the products were with the correct molecular structure and had liquid crystal properties under certain condi-tions with enantiotropic nematic mesophase.%以对羟基苯甲酸甲酯为主要原料,通过酯化、醚化、水解等有机反应合成了3种端基含双键的液晶单体(Ⅳm),并以间氯过氧苯甲酸作为氧化剂将双键氧化,得到了3种含环氧官能团的液晶化合物(Ⅴm).通过红外光谱(FT-IR)、核磁共振(NMR)对液晶单体的分子结构进行表征,采用差热扫描量热仪(DSC)和热台偏光显微镜(POM)测定其液晶相态.结果表明,所有目标产物分子结构正确,在一定条件下有液晶性能,且为互变型热致液晶.
