This study was conducted to explore the effects of seasonal cold stimulation on growth performance and feeding behaviors of finishing pigs.Sixty pigs with body weight of 116±5 kg were selected and randomly assigned to5 groups with 12 replicates in each group.The trial started from Oct 24,2015 to Nov 17,2015,for 24 days.Rapid cooling occurred during the test period when average temperature in pig house dropped from 14℃ to 7℃,leading to pig cold stimulus.Performance of finishing pigs and feeding behaviors of Osborne pigs were measured and recorded by production performance testing system.The results showed that:compared to comfortable period (0 d) and adaptation period (16～24 d),average daily feed intake and feed conversion ratio at rapid cooling period (10～ 15 d) significantly increased,average daily weight gain significantly decreased (P＜0.05);The number of times of daily intake and speed of intake in rapid cooling period was significantly higher than that in comfortable period and adaptation period;Single feed intake and single feeding time significantly decreased (P＜0.05).To sum up,cold stimulation reduces pig's performance and changes pig's feeding behavior.%研究旨在探讨季节性冷刺激对育肥猪生长性能和采食行为的影响.选取60头(116±5)kg的育肥猪,随机分为5组,每组12个重复,每重复1头猪.试验从2015年10月24日到2015年11月17日,共24 d.试验10～15 d发生大幅度降温,猪舍内平均温度从14℃降至7℃,对猪群造成冷刺激.利用奥斯本种猪生长性能测定系统,统计育肥猪的生长性能和采食行为数据.结果表明:与降温前舒适期(0 d)相比,急速降温期(10～15 d)猪群平均日采食量和料重比显著升高,平均日增重显著降低(P＜0.05);急速降温期日采食次数、采食速度均显著高于降温前舒适期和降温后适应期,单次采食时间和单次采食量显著降低(P＜0.05).综上所述,冷刺激降低育肥猪的生产性能,导致采食行为发生变化.
