基于改进DA算法的2-D IDCT系统设计

             

摘要

The discrete cosine transform(DCT)has been recognized as one ofthe st a ndard techniques in image compression.In this paper,a scheme design of DA-bas ed 2-D IDCT is presented.An improved distributed algorithm(DA)is given according t o practical condition in the process of design,and it has contributed to reduce the hardware amount and to enhance the speed performance of the 2-D IDCT schem e. Implementation of the design was done using top-dwon design methodology with VH D L(VHSIC hardware description language)for chip modeling.The system is designed and simulated by SYNOPSYS tools,and synthesized into gate-level circuit.%离散余弦变换已成为图像压缩中一标准技术,本文给出了基于DA算法的二维离散余弦逆变换(2-DIDCT)的系统设计。在设计过程中根据实际情况提出了一种改进算法,通过采用此改进DA算法,整个2-DIDCT系统在提高速度的同时可大大减少面积。设计采用自顶向下设计方法,用VHDL进行描述,整个系统在SYNOPSYS工具上进行设计及仿真,最终综合到门级电路。
