双L型阵列的二维DOA估计方法

     

摘要

An estimation method based on extended propagator method for the problem of two-dimensional ( 2-D) direction-of-arrival ( DOA) estimation of two L-shaped uniform linear arrays is proposed in this paper. Firstly, this method divides the two L-shaped arrays into two independent L-shaped arrays virtually by taking advantage of the structure feature and rear-ranges the array output data for each of the L shaped array. Then, according to the rotational invariance property of uniform linear arrays, four rotation matrices which contain angle information can be obtained by using extended propagator method twice. Finally, on the basis of the property of permutation matrix, the corresponding angles of rotation matrices can be matched by using the minimum norm method. This method does not require spectrum peak searching and has low computa-tional complexity. Computer simulation experiment results show that compared with certain existing methods in the litera-ture, this method has smaller estimation error and better angle estimation performance. Also, under different signal-to-noise ratio and different angle combinations, it has good performance, with certain practical value. Simulation demonstrates the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.%针对双L型均匀线性阵列的二维到达角(direction-of-arrival,DOA)估计问题,提出一种基于扩展传播算子(propagator method,PM)的估计方法.该方法结合双L型天线阵列的结构特征,虚拟地将其划分为2个独立的L型子阵列,并对每个L型阵列的阵元输出数据重排整理.通过2次利用扩展孔径的传播算子算法,并依据均匀线性阵列的旋转不变性,得到4个包含角度信息的旋转矩阵.根据置换矩阵的性质,利用求最小范数的方法进行角度配对.该方法无需谱峰搜索步骤,计算量小.计算机仿真实验结果表明,该方法比现有一些文献中的估计方法的估计误差更小,角度估计性能更优,在不同信噪比和不同角度组合下都有良好的性能表现,有一定的实用价值.仿真验证了该方法的有效性和优越性.
