The aim was to expand application of 4 woody plants in subsurface flow constructed wetlands (SSFCWs), the optimization experiment with single factor and orthogonal design methods was conducted to 4 factors (root cutting effect, substrate forms, hormone density, aeration time)which influenced the growth of reduced root of 4 woody species (Nerium oleander, Hibiscus syriacus, Gardenia jasminoides, Ligustrum lucidum) under 5 levels. The results indicate that the best response level of influencing factors have some differences between the visual analysis methods and single factor tests. On the basis of comprehensive analysis, it was found that the most appropriate root cutting for N. oleander was 1/4, H. syriacus and G. jasminoides was 1/8, L. lucidum was 1/2. The most appropriate substrate for N. oleander was peaty soil, H. syriacus and G. jasminoides was vermiculite, L. lucidum was perlite. The most appropriate rooting of hormone density for N. oleander and H. syriacus was 1 000 mg/kg, high hormone density was not suitable for G. jasminoides and L. lucidum. The most appropriate aeration time for N. oleander was 8 hours per day, H. syriacus and L. lucidum was 16 hours per day, and G. jasminoides was 12 hours per day.%为了让木本植物更广泛的应用于潜流人工湿地,采用单因子与正交设计2种方法对影响夹竹桃Nerium oleander、木槿Hibiscus syriacus、栀子Gardenia jasminoides、女贞Ligustrum lucidum4种木本植物在潜流人工湿地环境下诱导根系生长的4个因素(切根程度,基质类型,激素浓度和曝气时间)在5种水平上进行优化试验.结果表明:正交设计采用直观分析法获得影响因素最佳反应水平与单因子试验找出影响因素最佳反应水平有一定差异,通过综合比较分析,夹竹桃最适合的切根方式是切根1/4,木槿、栀子最适合的切根方式是切根1/8,女贞最适合的切根方式是切根1/2;夹竹桃最适宜的基质是泥炭土,木槿、栀子最适宜的基质是蛭石,女贞最适宜的基质是珍珠岩;夹竹桃、木槿最合适的生根剂浓度为1 000 mg/kg,栀子、女贞不适宜添加过高浓度的生根剂;夹竹桃最合适的曝气时间是每日8h,木槿、女贞最合适的曝气时间是每日16h,栀子最合适的曝气时间是每日12h.
