美国现今的监狱行政管理是从历史上的做法延续而来的，难免不受到诸多因素的影响。美国是个联邦制国家，各州之间在政权设置及其运行方面的高端设计不尽一致，这充分反映在监狱行政管理方面，但同时也有趋于一致的做法。现在，监狱管理成为一个行业，架构起了组织机构，这是监狱运行的基础和实体表现。%In America, the prison administration often follows the traditional approach, which is undoubtedly in- fluenced by various factors. As America is a federal country, there exist some differences in the superior design of government operation, which fully reflected in the administration management of prison, but at the same time, there is also some similar practice. Up to now, the prison management has become an industry, and has con- structed its own organization, which is the operation basis and practical performance of prison.
