Turbulent intensity of longitudinal velocity in a two-dimension sediment-laden flow depends on two factors,velocity and its gradient. The experimental data obtained flume experiment has proved that there is a quantitative formula between turbulent intensity a and the product of velocity u and its gradient du/dy. Based on the formula, the relationship between o and the friction velocity u* has been derived and analyzed.
