In order to improve the office poper feeder design, and eliminate paper jam .fault inrunning office equipment, the static deformation and dynamic response of paper were analyzedby use of the Fnite Element Method (FEM. In the analysis, the three nodes triangle plate andshell element were employed and finite element incremental formulations were derived on thebasis of Updated Ingragian (U.L.) description. The newmark method was used to analyze thetransient,rsponse of paper. All the,rsults calculated in this article coincide with those byexpenments.
