On the basis of practice this paper studies the effect mechanism of roadway sidepackings of sing-cement material with high water content, the mechanical model and formula for caleulating the parameters of sidepackings are obtained. The results gained by caleulation in the paper are consistent with that measured in the field. And this provides a basis for the roadway sidepacking support design.
