摘要

The pastefill pipeline system and its problems in Garson Mine were introduced. Based on the conditions of the system, the damage positions in the vertical pipeline were calculated. Mechanism of causing damage to pipeline system by pastefill were analyzed. Because of a non continuous flow of paste, “a jet stream” of the dispersed paste could be formed in the vertical pipeline. Most damages of the pastefill pipeline were caused by two major impacts of jet stream : vacuum steam etching and high velocity abrasion. To avoid the damage, a continuous and a full pipe flow must be ensured in the vertical pipeline.
