An Introduction to Generalized Computing

Generalized computing is a kind of general intelligent problem solving methods which combine symbolic computing with neuro-computing, fuzzy computing and evolutionary computing. This paper discusses the fundamental principle or generalized computing and its relationship with computational intelligence. At the same time, the common structure or the generalized computing models and generalized computing systems is given.
