Paget's disease of bone is a focal disorder of bone remodellingcaused by abnormally increased osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. qtle affected bones change in shaw, size and direction, whilethe rest of the skeleton remains normal. The clinical consequences of the disease were first described by Sir Janles Paget in 1876(Figure 1).
