In the production process of barium carbonate with barite as the main raw material,it was found a problem of high barium sulfate content with low conversion rate calcined in high temperature calcination.After a lot of experiments,the cause was determined,and the method of measuring the content of barium sulfate in barite by potassium dichromate precipitation analysis was put forward.Results showed that the mass fractions of barium sulfate in barite by ammonium sulfate precipitation analysis and potassium dichromate precipitation analysis were 86.53% and 82.71%,respectively.Compared with the first method,the content of barium sulfate in barite analyzed by potassium dichromate precipitation analysis was more close to the actual situation.%在以重晶石为主要原料生产碳酸钡的过程中,发现重晶石与煤在高温煅烧时,存在重晶石主含量硫酸钡很高,但煅烧的转化率很低的问题.经过大量研究,确定了重晶石品位虚高的原因,并据此提出了重铬酸钾沉淀法测定重晶石中硫酸钡含量的方法.采用硫酸铵沉淀分析法和重铬酸钾沉淀法分别测得重晶石中硫酸钡的质量分数为86.53%和82.71%,对比发现,第二种方法测得的重晶石中硫酸钡主含量更加接近实际含量.
